Samantha Steele - President

My name is Samantha/Sam aka Butters, and I am the President of GFWTF. This will be my third year playing with Gfwtf. I am married and have five kiddos four boys and one girl ages 19, 13, 13, 10, and 8.
Before I started playing, I knew very little about football beyond being a sideline mom cheering on my boys. After stepping onto the field myself, I quickly fell in love with the game, and playing has become a true passion of mine. Football is not only a fun and rewarding way to stay active, but the sisterhood built on the field is truly one of a kind. I have gained friendships and created memories that I will cherish forever.
When I’m not on the field, I’m working toward my bachelor’s degree, volunteering with our youth sports programs, camping, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m incredibly excited to welcome back our returning players and to have several new players joining us this season it’s going to be an amazing year!
ONE team. ONE family.

Heather Herdt - Vice President

Hi! I’m the VP and a founding member
I’m a wife to Timothy and a proud mama of four amazing kids. Together, we’ve owned and operated our construction company since 2008. I’ve been selling real estate since 2013, and last year I took another leap and opened my bookkeeping business
I truly love helping people meet their goals—whether in business, sports, or life. In my spare time I love volunteering at church, teaching at our homeschool co-op, coaching basketball and football, and serving as Treasurer on our youth football board and VP for GFWTF for 3 years.
I also absolutely love our women’s football team, which has helped grow our community by focusing on friendships, staying fit, and supporting one another and ultimately supporting youth programs.
I’m passionate about growing our community, supporting our youth, and uplifting small businesses, and I’m so thankful to be part of something so special.

Stephanie Farman - Secretary

My name is Stephanie Farman aka Bubbles. I am the secretary for the GFWTF board. This is my third season playing on this team. I have two boys at the high school. They both played football for Granite all through youth and my youngest still plays. I love being a part of this team and being able to give back to the community. Playing sports has helped me so much in the last few years and I'm glad that we can give children that same chance and opportunity. Looking forward to getting back out on the field and getting to know all of the new players and spending time with everyone. Go Tigers!!

JamAhna Colton - Treasurer

My name is Jamahna, and I am proud to serve as the GFWTF Treasurer. I am a mother of five and work for the Granite Falls School District as a Specialized Para.
I have been part of the Granite Falls community for seven years, and this will be my third year playing on the women's football team.
One of my favorite parts of being on this team is the relationships I've built and the opportunity to grow alongside such strong, supportive women-reaching goals together and constantly lifting each other up. I am incredibly excited for this upcoming season.
What I love most about our organization is our commitment to giving back to the community by raising money for youth sports. I have grown a true passion for the game, and it means so much to me to be able to give back to the community that supports us.

💥One team-One Family💥

Danielle Price - Fundraising & Team Bonding Coordinator

Introducing for her 3rd season as a Women’s Tiger- Danielle #69

Unlike the one time I accidentally signed up for indoor soccer, I intentionally registered for flackle football—under the assumption my bestie was playing. I eventually talked her into it, so it all worked out.

My main reason for joining (and continuing to show up) has always been the same: the people. I joined to make friends and hang out with them.

As an introverted woman in my 30s who doesn’t particularly care for most people, making friends is about as easy as finding a shiny penny, heads-up, on the ground.

GFWTF has given me more than a place to belong—it gave me confidence. Confidence to keep pushing forward no matter what (or who) is in front of me.

Surrounding myself with strong, determined women who genuinely support me has given me a level of courage I didn’t even know I was capable of.
